@Marilyn - I think it would be best to delete 0.6.6 first or move it to a separate directory.

@Tom - You might want to try the Freeswitch module - Freeswitch being an open-source voip package.

Just tried to get a vivox licence/account but was told they do not have a product available for individuals/small businesses. Pity would have been nice to try.

when these new versions come out with the installer, will they just overwrite on what i already have, or will i need to delete the 0.6.6 first? thanks

@Zauber. The git tool does generate a list so when I get a chance I’ll do that and stick it on the OpenSimulator download page with all the other stuff. If I forget please feel free to remind me

@Adam. I certainly agree that 0.6.8 should be a good release. I think the problem is in predicting when the new texture and LLUDP client stack code will have stablized enough to make another release - this doesn’t seem to be the case yet.

I do wonder if having fixed release dates (a la Ubuntu) might help concentrate people’s minds on stability at certain points in the cycle.

Actually, 0.6.7 might be a skippable release. 0.6.8 should be out soon and contains a royal ton of stability and performance fixes over 0.6.7 that I would personally recommend waiting for.
