@rjs. I haven’t been around at all this weekend so I’m not sure what has been happening. Let’s discuss this offline.

I take back what I said. There are certainly issues with some of the core development that need be resolved immediately.

I've removed myself from any further testing on the linux platform due to the issues at this point. Maybe once the internal issues are resolved the progress will continue where all may participate and enjoy the software. But after what I have witnessed both yesterday evening and today on the mantis, I think there need be a change first with those that are bickering over the software direction. This is absurd and shows the lack of good will for those that participate in the software.

There are a few whom need a reality check. If it's open source, lets leave it open source.

Wow!!

Thank you Justin for your in depth reporting each week on what is being worked on. Your blog is very appreciated. All I can say is wow for the amount of time you put into making sure you are covering the bases. It's a great help.

Thank you,

Hi Bob. Thanks for the thanks - it's quite hard to keep tabs on everything happening in OpenSim, especially on areas such as the Meshmerizer on which I don't have much insight. However, I think the summary is something that's worth doing and I'm going to try to keep going with it until there's a good reason to stop!

Regarding the RSS feed, I'm assuming that you're referring to the one at

https://cia.vc/stats/project/opensim

Unfortunately, it looks like cia.vc is having some problems at the moment, since we have definitely progressed beyond r7141 :) cia.vc is a third party service outside of our control - hopefully it will come back soon.

An alternative is to subscribe to the mailing list at

https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensim-commits

which sends out an e-mail for every commit containing it's description and the diff. This doesn't make it easy to quickly glance over all the descriptions, however.

Hi Justin...I am a bit puzzled

I keep a daily eye on the SVN commit RRS feed and read your summary weekly to put it all in perspective.

The last commit on the RSS feed I see is r7141 but here you report on "This week in OpenSim ( r7057 - r7202 )"

Is there a problem with the RSS feed or have you got your numbering wrong?

Just asking as I like to keep up to date with progress as far as I am able and want to make sure I am reading the correct RSS feed to do that.

BTW: Wonderful summary work as always. Keep it coming please.
